The Elite Job is seeking a detail‑oriented QA & Web Accessibility Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that our digital products meet the highest standards of quality, usability, and accessibility. You will collaborate with developers, designers, and product teams to implement testing strategies, identify potential issues, and ensure compliance with WCAG and other accessibility standards. This position is ideal for someone who is passionate about creating inclusive and flawless user experiences across all platforms.
Develop and execute comprehensive test plans for web and mobile applications.
Perform functional, regression, and accessibility testing to ensure software quality.
Use assistive technologies (e.g., screen readers, keyboard navigation) to evaluate accessibility compliance.
Collaborate with developers and designers to identify, report, and resolve usability and accessibility issues.
Maintain test documentation, bug reports, and accessibility audit results.
Ensure products meet WCAG 2.1 AA and ARIA standards.
Integrate automated testing tools and frameworks into CI/CD pipelines.
Provide feedback and recommendations to improve accessibility during the design and development phases.
Stay current with emerging accessibility trends, tools, and legal requirements (e.g., ADA, EN 301 549).
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Proven experience in software QA testing and accessibility evaluation.
Strong knowledge of accessibility guidelines (WCAG, Section 508, ARIA).
Experience using tools like Axe, WAVE, Lighthouse, JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver, and Accessibility Insights.
Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and responsive design principles.
Proficiency with automated testing tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
Strong communication skills with attention to detail and documentation.
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Quality Assurance, Accessibility Testing, or a similar role.
Previous experience in web and mobile application testing in an agile environment is preferred.
Full‑time remote position.
Flexible working hours, based on Central European Time (CET).
Occasional virtual team meetings or sprint reviews may be required.
Deep understanding of accessibility best practices and inclusive design.
Ability to identify and document accessibility barriers and suggest practical solutions.
Hands‑on experience with version control tools (Git, GitHub, Bitbucket).
Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work in cross‑functional teams.
