Overview
We are looking for Quality Assurance and Quality Control Engineers in support to our client Fusion for Energy for their location in Barcelona, Spain.

Responsibilities
- Support in the review of QA documentation, including in the review of QA documentation of different F4E Programmes and QA documentation of other Units of the Organisation.
- Assist in the management of Non-Conformities (NCRs) and in the technical and administrative management of NCRs.
- Support in quality matters during design and manufacturing of ITER components, and in the design and manufacturing of different F4E components in technical and administrative QA matters; support in QA matters during the design and manufacturing of other projects of the Organisation.
- Review suppliers’ quality related documents and provide support to supervision and audits performed to suppliers.
- Follow up of Non-Conformities and deviations (deviations are changes in the contract requirements); establish clear communication with suppliers to ensure smooth progress of activities.
- Supervise and inspect the manufacturing processes of mechanical components at the suppliers; support the definition, qualification and monitoring of joining techniques (machining, welding, assembly) of various components; monitor non-destructive tests carried out in suppliers (e.g., UT, RT, RT, etc.).
Qualifications – QA Profile
- A bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace, or Nuclear Engineering.
- At least 4 years of relevant work experience.
- Experience in the follow-up of the manufacturing of mechanical components under a Quality Management System, including forming, forging, rolling, joining, welding, machining, assembly, metrology, testing, etc.
- Experience with codes and standards used for design and manufacturing of mechanical components (ASME III, ASME VIII, RCC-MR, RCC-MRx, Eurocodes, EN standards, etc.).
- Experience in organizing production for the manufacturing of mechanical components.
- Experience in the definition and/or qualification of joining techniques for mechanical components.
- Experience in design, manufacturing and/or testing of engineering systems for vacuum and/or cryogenic applications.
- Experience in non-destructive testing (RT, PT, VT, UT).
- Experience in cost control tasks related to manufacturing activities.
- Knowledge of material heat treatments and/or surface finishing treatments.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
Qualifications – QC Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in industrial, mechanical, electrical, aerospace, or nuclear engineering (or equivalent).
- Ideally at least 4 years of experience in the manufacturing domain with involvement in QA and QC activities and experience in supplier supervision/audit (candidates with fewer years encouraged to apply).
- Proven experience in Quality, Audits, and QA procedures.
- Knowledge of quality control (primarily welding and NDT - RT, UT).
- Ability to work both autonomously and in a team.
- Candidates must be eligible to live and work in the EU.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
