A leading environmental services company in Comunidad de Madrid is seeking a Purchasing Team Leader to coordinate the purchasing department. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience in team management within industrial projects and be skilled in negotiation. Proficiency in both English and Spanish, as well as experience with ERP systems like Oracle or SAP, is essential. This role will involve optimizing supplier relationships and leading a dedicated team towards ecological transformation.

Job Description

Within the Purchasing team, you will be responsible for coordinating the purchasing department and managing / optimizing the process with the different suppliers, following the company's internal procedure. Among your main functions you will be in charge of :

• Analyze the ERP system's purchasing demands.
• Place orders for both stock and projects.
• Review and optimize the stock levels of purchased parts and order quantities.
• Negotiate prices with suppliers.
• Perform supplier control and monitoring.
• Prepare reports and follow-up meetings.
• Lead a work team, develop their skills and define and / or validate their resource or training needs.
• Establish department objectives and evaluate performance at a collective and individual level.
• Analysis of departments needs and suppliers evaluation.
• Strengthen and revise the supplier portfolio to meet growth objectives, increase efficiency and consolidate new or existing business relationships.
• Control and monitoring of suppliers.

Qualifications

• Educational background : Degree / technical background preferred
• Minimum experience : 10 years in team management (purchasing in industrial projects)
• Languages : English and Spanish high level (negotiation)
• Another specific requirement : Experience in ERPs (Oracle, Sap, ...)
• Valuable :
• Experience and knowledge in water treatment
• Engineering Degree
