Position Overview

We are looking to welcome yet another brilliant Principal Marketing Data Analyst into our Marketing Analytics team. As a Lead Data Analyst, you’ll be responsible for designing and driving high‑impact analytics solutions—from developing advanced statistical frameworks to evaluate marketing performance, to building data pipelines that integrate third‑party sources, to creating interactive tools that empower partner teams. These are just a few examples of the initiatives you’ll help lead and deliver end‑to‑end, playing a key role in shaping the technical direction of our analytics efforts. The demands on this team are constantly evolving with the needs of Socialpoint’s and Zynga’s dynamic marketing teams, so it is important that you be able to adapt and utilize your time efficiently.

What You'll Do
  • Act as a thought partner to marketing leaders, identifying opportunities for growth, efficiency, and innovation.
  • Mentor junior analysts and help shape the analytics team’s culture and processes. Work with the Marketing and User Acquisition teams to provide insights into user behavior and answer key business questions.
  • Visualize and communicate the results of your data analysis to senior stakeholders, making data‑driven recommendations that support key decisions.
  • Apply statistical methodologies to evaluate performance and account for uncertainties in major initiatives.
What You Bring
  • Demonstrated experience with some or all of the following: predictive modeling, statistics, experimental design, optimization, data visualization.
  • Understanding of marketing metrics and KPIs, with experience in campaign optimization, Lifetime Value (LTV) modeling, and incrementality analysis.
  • Strong business acumen and domain knowledge in user acquisition, product marketing, and privacy frameworks like ATT.
  • Strong experience in SQL and Python; adept in at least one visualization tool such as Tableau.
  • Strong communication skills — you can explain complex data in simple, actionable terms.
  • A team player, you establish effective relationships to work with others for the win.
