A recruitment consultancy is seeking a hands-on Plant Manager for a recycling production plant in Murcia, Spain. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience managing production teams and a degree in Industrial Engineering. Responsibilities include supervising operations, ensuring product quality, and implementing continuous improvement methodologies. Candidates must have a B2 English level.

Do you have extensive experience leading a production plant in the recycling sector? Are you used to working with continuous improvement methodologies? Have you already worked for a multinational company?

As a Recruitment Consultancy, we are looking for a Plant Manager with solid experience in managing production teams, someone who enjoys being hands‑on with daily operations and is a proactive leader when it comes to improving processes and proposing solutions on the factory floor.

The position is based 30 minutes from Murcia, SPAIN, and reports directly to the CEO.

Your CV must be in English to proceed in the selection process.

Responsabilities

• Supervise daily operations, manage performance metrics (production, quality, safety), and coordinate two plants with over 100 employees.
• Lead and train personnel, foster a positive work environment, and build strategic relationships with industry OEMs.
• Ensure products meet quality standards, conduct audits and inspections, and address quality issues.
• Guarantee a safe work environment, enforce environmental regulations, and conduct safety training.
• Identify areas for process and efficiency improvement, apply lean manufacturing principles, and stay updated on industry trends and technologies.
• Manage budgets, optimize resources and inventories, and prepare performance reports.

Qualifications

• Degree in Industrial Engineering or related technical engineering field.
• At least 10 years of experience managing operations in recycling production/manufacturing plants.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality control, and safety regulations.
• Hands‑on experience with lean practices and continuous improvement methodologies.
• English level B2 or higher.
