A leading engineering firm in Barcelona is seeking a Nuclear Engineer to ensure compliance with safety regulations and support radwaste matters. The ideal candidate must have a BEng degree and at least 14 years of relevant experience, particularly with nuclear safety codes and technical documentation. Proficiency in English is also required. Formación

  • At least 14 years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience in the execution and review of engineering analyses.
  • Experience reviewing mechanical and thermo-mechanical analysis reports.
  • Knowledge of handling tritium is an asset.

Responsabilidades

  • Ensure compliance with applicable French safety regulations.
  • Support the TBM team for radwaste matters.
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret results.
  • Develop technical basis documents and technical evaluations.
  • Provide general technical assistance and activity reporting.

Conocimientos

Job Overview

We are looking for a Nuclear Engineer on behalf of our client for their location in Barcelona, Spain. The selected candidate should show integrity and professionalism.

Compensation & Employment

Successful candidate will be employed by ATG Europe (or one of its subsidiaries) and subject to a general security screening performed by an external provider (further information will be provided at interview stage).

Responsibilities
  • Ensure compliance of F4E and its suppliers’ activities with applicable French safety regulations, e.g., the 2012 Order on Basic Nuclear Installations, the Environmental Code, the ESPN regulation etc.
  • Support the TBM team for radwaste matters.
  • Review technical documentation covering design, manufacturing, testing, assembly, commissioning, or decommissioning activities.
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret results.
  • Develop technical basis documents and technical evaluations.
  • Provide general technical assistance and activity reporting.
Qualifications
  • BEng in industrial, mechanical, electrical, aerospace, nuclear engineering, or similar relevant field.
  • At least 14 years of relevant work experience.
  • Knowledge and experience with severe accidents and nuclear safety codes such as MELCOR, RELAP5, or similar.
  • Experience in the execution and review of engineering analyses.
  • Experience reviewing mechanical and thermo-mechanical analysis reports.
  • Knowledge of handling tritium considered an asset.
  • Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
  • Candidates must be eligible to work in EU.
