Our client is a fast-growing French-founded startup in Barcelona helping influencers turn their ideas into beautifully designed, best-selling books — supported by powerful multi-channel marketing. With presence in France, Spain, and the UK, they’re now looking for a Marketing Director to scale their international growth

Your Mission

Lead the company’s marketing engine and ensure every launch gets maximum impact. This role combines strategic leadership, hands-on execution, and international growth vision.

  • End-to-End Campaigns: Design and run multi-channel campaigns (SEO, SEM, Paid Social, Email, Affiliates), focused on ROI and conversion.
  • High-Volume Launches: Oversee ~80 book releases per month across three languages, each requiring tailored strategies.
  • Influencer Collaboration: Work directly with authors / influencers to craft authentic campaigns that engage their communities.
  • Creative Initiatives: Innovate with pre-sales, exclusives, bundles, and book drops to drive anticipation and sales.
  • Data-Driven Growth: Analyze performance, test new approaches, refine what doesn’t work, and scale successful tactics.
  • Team Leadership: Guide and mentor a team of 4 / 5 consultants (French & Spanish speakers), ensuring structure, creativity, and accountability.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with editorial, design, and business teams for cohesive, impactful launches.
  • International Perspective: Adapt campaigns to different languages and markets while maintaining global consistency.
What We’re Looking For
  • Experience: 4–7 years in performance marketing, digital growth, or e-commerce (B2C or B2B2C).
  • Influencer Marketing: Proven track record in working with creators, influencers, or author-led campaigns.
  • Multi-Campaign Management: Ability to manage high-volume, multi-market launches with clarity, speed, and structure.
  • Hands-On Leadership: Comfortable leading a team while also rolling up your sleeves to run ads, analyze data, or fine-tune a campaign yourself.
  • E-Commerce Mindset: Strong understanding of direct-to-consumer strategies, online sales funnels, and conversion optimization.
  • Creative + Analytical Balance: Agile thinker who can combine performance-driven analytics with out-of-the-box campaign ideas.
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with SEO, SEM, paid media, analytics tools, and other marketing platforms.
  • International Outlook: Experience working across multiple regions / languages is a plus.
  • Full professional level of English, Spanish and French.
