Join our team as an Insurance Manager as we are looking for an organized and proactive professional to manage the company’s insurance activities and help prevent and mitigate risks across the business.
The role involves reviewing, drafting, and managing insurance policies at both domestic and international levels, supporting the planning and operation of insurance programs, and overseeing claims management. You will also collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to address risk-related matters and disputes.

Your Responsibilities:
- Define internal guidelines for risk management and insurance coverage across the European Union and the UK
- Subscription, renewal, and follow-up of the company’s insurance contracts covering all business areas, from development and construction to operation of the renewables portfolio (including CAR, Commercial General Liability, ALOP, Cyber, Marine Cargo, and D&O). This includes launching and managing calls for tenders, reviewing and negotiating policies, subscribing to new contracts based on business needs, receiving and verifying insurance certificates, and managing premium and fee payments
- Analysis and advisory support: analyse insurance coverage and the adequacy of guarantees in relation to the company’s activities; review, negotiate, and monitor insurance clauses and liability provisions in commercial contracts (development, construction, purchase agreements, etc.); advise management and operational teams on risk assessments and required insurance-related mitigation plans
- Manage the timely placement of relevant insurance policies for all project stages, including acquisition, pre-construction, construction, and operation
- Manage insurance claims and settlements in a timely manner and maintain accurate records.
- Manage and regularly review the portfolio of contracted insurance policies
- Lead communication and develop long-term relationships with key insurance brokers and insurance advisers
- Bachelor's degree in Law or any other comparable degree. Insurance specialization is a plus.
- At least 5 years of professional insurance experience.
- Strong knowledge in working with MS tools and SAP.
- Strong understanding of Insurance strategy, Insurance Claim Management and Risk Management.
- Exceptional organizational skills with a detail-oriented approach and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficiency in both oral and written English is required; additional fluency in Spanish or Portuguese languages is a plus.
