Ideal candidates will possess over 8 years of experience in structured finance, particularly within the renewable energy sector, and be fluent in both English and Spanish.

Formación

• 8+ years of experience in structured finance (corporate/project finance).
• Proven track record in the renewable energy sector.
• Experience with international transactions (Iberia and Italy is a plus).

The Green Recruitment Company is looking for a Head of Capital Markets to work in a leading IPP-Investment Fund in Madrid.

Our customer is a leading renewable energy company with international operations and an ambitious growth strategy.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the company’s financing and refinancing strategy, structuring complex debt instruments and managing a multi-jurisdictional debt portfolio.

• Report directly to the CFO and collaborate with funds, banks, and legal advisors to drive sustainable growth.

• Lead and execute financing and refinancing transactions (senior and junior debt).

• Structure financial instruments and negotiate with multilateral banks, investment funds, and financial institutions.

• Manage debt portfolios across multiple SPVs and jurisdictions.

• Oversee covenant compliance, financial reporting, and regulatory alignment.

• Support M&A processes: divestment of non-performing assets and acquisitions in Italy.

Qualifications:

• Plus 8 years of experience in structured finance (corporate/project finance).

• Proven track record in the renewable energy sector.

• Experience with international transactions (Iberia and Italy highly valued).

• Strategic mindset and leadership capabilities.

• Fluent in English and Spanish.
