About Us

We are an exciting new international marketplace platform, designed for the textile industry. We connect textile machinery manufacturers with textile production companies, as well as the main stakeholders of the textile industry, in order to showcase the most sustainably innovative textile machinery available today. We have launched in several markets, including Turkey, Bangladesh, India, China and parts of Europe, and we have some ambitious growth plans.

Our company is founded by international entrepreneurs, all of whom have significant experience and expertise in manufacturing, gained at senior C‑Suite and Board level. We have global investment partnerships set up with in‑country banks, and our revenue is generated through textile machinery manufacturers, on both a subscription basis and single transactions.

Our aim is to make the latest and most sustainable manufacturing technology accessible globally to all sizes of textile manufacturers. Our platform is rapidly gaining traction with both textile and machinery manufacturers, and to help fuel our growth, we are now looking for a Global Head of Business Development to lead our commercial strategy, drive global expansion and manage high‑level partnerships across the textile value chain.

The Role

This exciting role requires someone who can demonstrate a strong commercial and technical understanding of textile machinery, who’s led multicultural teams. You’ll have direct operational involvement in key countries to scale decarbonization solutions globally. As such, you’ll be a former Textile Engineer, with significant international commercial experience in Textile Machinery for various different processes (spinning, knitting, weaving etc).

You will have stepped into a commercially focused position that draws on your technical background and be ready for a new challenge within a dynamic startup business with a genuinely distinctive product offering. Your gravitas and commercial acumen will allow you to make a rapid, meaningful impact, fostering partnerships and relationships that drive our growth.

It’s essential that you can communicate fluently in English, ideally Spanish and other languages.

Key Responsibilities
International Team Leadership

Lead, coach, and coordinate country teams and local business development leaders. You will share people management responsibility with the Founders.

Provide direct support in key markets through client visits, negotiations, and project oversight.

Business Development & Strategic Partnerships

Identify, structure, and negotiate strategic agreements with manufacturers, brands, machinery suppliers, and technology partners.

Develop scalable commercial frameworks and go‑to‑market models.

Global Expansion

Assess and prioritize target countries based on industrial intensity, regulatory landscape, and decarbonization potential.

Drive the company’s expansion across strategic regions: Asia, Europe, LatAm, Middle East, Africa.

Stakeholder Engagement

Build and maintain senior‑level relationships with industry leaders, associations, and institutional actors.

Represent Ivy Decarb at international trade fairs, textile events, and sustainability conferences.

Technical & Industrial Insight

Apply deep understanding of textile machinery and processes to identify levers for decarbonization and energy efficiency.

Work closely with product, engineering, and data teams to adapt solutions to market realities.
