We are seeking a Director of Travel Industry Sales to develop and execute the sales strategy for the Travel Industry segment, positioning the resort as a preferred destination among luxury travel agencies, tour operators, consortia, TMCs, and strategic partners worldwide.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute the Travel Industry sales strategy aligned with resort and Marriott International objectives.
  • Build, maintain, and strengthen strategic relationships with luxury travel agencies, tour operators, consortia, DMCs, and key partners.
  • Identify new business opportunities, emerging markets, and strategic partnerships.
  • Lead high‑level negotiations, preferred agreements, and commercial contracts to ensure profitability and brand positioning.
  • Represent the resort at trade shows, roadshows, sales missions, and familiarization trips (FAM trips).
  • Collaborate closely with Revenue Management, Marketing, Sales, and Operations to maximize performance.
  • Analyze market trends, sales performance, and KPIs to optimize strategies and commercial actions.
  • Manage the Travel Industry budget and ensure achievement of financial targets.
  • Coordinate joint promotions, campaigns, and visibility initiatives with key partners.
  • Act as a brand ambassador for The Ritz‑Carlton, consistently reflecting the Gold Standards.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in travel industry sales, preferably within luxury hospitality or premium brands.
  • In‑depth knowledge of the Travel Industry segment (agencies, tour operators, consortia, TMCs, DMCs).
  • Strong strategic, commercial, and results‑driven mindset.
  • Exceptional leadership, negotiation, and influencing skills at senior levels.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship‑building abilities.
  • Willingness to travel frequently on a national and international basis.
  • Fluency in English and Spanish; additional languages are a strong advantage (German, French, etc.).
  • Valid work authorization for Spain.
