A leading technology services company in Madrid seeks an experienced data analyst to provide data analysis supporting network development and optimization objectives. Responsibilities include developing reporting and analytics, testing business hypotheses, and ensuring the quality and completeness of data. The ideal candidate should have strong proficiency in Excel, experience with predictive modeling using Django and Python, and a passion for data analytics.

Formación

• Passion for data analytics and communicating insights.
• Ability to correct data anomalies in source datasets.
• Experience testing business hypotheses and constructing predictive models.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and publish reporting and analytics from tested hypotheses.
• Set up experimental designs for business questions.
• Continuously measure model effectiveness and performance.

Conocimientos

Strong Excel skills

Data visualization skills (Qlik / PowerBI)

Django and Python proficiency (5+ years)

Oracle DB experience

SQL database design understanding

VBA knowledge

Data modeling / ML / AI experience

Data quality execution

Version control (Git)

Understanding of software development principles

Identify and correct data anomalies within source system data sets

Responsibilities

• Reporting / Analysis - Develop and publish reporting and analytics as a result of tested hypotheses and provide
• Predictive analytics - Test business hypotheses across the department to construct predictive models..
• Data Model Management - Set up experimental designs to answer business questions and opportunities.
• Continuously measure model effectiveness and performance
• Data Quality - Execute different data analytics to ensure the completeness, quality, and consistency of data
• Passion for Data and analytics combined with the ability to communicate insights to the business and senior technical audiences at all levels including senior executives
• Strong Excel skills (Lookups, power Pivots)
• Data visualisation skills specifically Qlik / PowerBI
• Django Rest Framework experience
• Experience with Oracle DB
• Strong understanding of relational database design and modeling
• Strong proficiency in Django and Python (5+ years)
• Strong understanding of SQL database design, VBA
• Experience with version control (Git)Understanding of software development principles
• Data modelling / ML / AI experience
