Communications Manager Job Description

SCRM LIDL Digital Hub

About the role

At SCRM we are looking for a communications Manager to join our Portfolio & Business area based in our Digital Hub in the very center of Barcelona. Your main responsibilities will be to develop create and manage communication of our product features to various stakeholders primarily through LinkedIn. The area you will be working in organizes & structures the entire feature portfolio of our loyalty app which is available in over 31 European countries.

In this Role youll get to

  • Engage with our LinkedIn community
  • Support with ad-hoc management tasks
  • Create and manage the content for our LinkedIn page
  • Execute the LinkedIn communication strategy and plan
  • Liaise between various stakeholders within the Schwarz group
  • Define and monitor the KPIs aligned with the communication projects goals
  • Work alongside media partners to support the press releases and press kits material
  • Stay updated with the latest communication and social media trends practices and innovations
  • Develop and own the all-year communication calendar for our product launches & company events
Required Skills
  • High professional level of English is a must
  • Knowledge of all relevant digital communication KPIs
  • Experience in creative writing & visual concept design
  • Strong interest in online marketing and new technologies
  • Capacity to create visual designs like banners or motion graphics
  • Bachelors degree in marketing communications business or related field
  • Capacity to translate complex technical information into impactful announcements
  • A degree in a relevant field (eg. Social Media Marketing Digital Media) or at least 2 years of relevant experience in online marketing and / or corporate communications
  • You are detail-oriented with an agile mindset and excellent communication skills and are comfortable working independently to deliver based on your media experience
