A construction and maintenance company in Barcelona is seeking a qualified Carpenter to lead the carpentry team. The role includes managing the maintenance and repair of furniture, preparing and painting to high standards, and overseeing various installation tasks. • Prepare, spray, and paint to high standards.
• Install, construct, and repair various items and structures.

Descripción del empleo

We are recruiting a qualified Carpenter to manage the carpentry team, as well as the maintenance and repair of furniture and other equipment within the Property.

Other duties

• Preparation, spraying, and painting works to the highest standard.
• Following the preventive maintenance schedule as specified in the plan.
• Installation, construction, and repair of doors, cabinets, shelves, windows, blinds, and other items as required.
• Building of gypsum partitions and false ceilings as required.
• Carrying out demolition work whenever needed.
• Responsibility for lamination of furniture and floors, and for applying other coverings on floors, cabinets, and surfaces as required.
• Replacement and repair of all damaged furniture and floor parts.
• Installation of fixtures, door handles, locks, and flooring underlay.
• Putting up siding and scaffolding when required.
• Reporting on other departments as required when a supervisor is on leave.
• Training of apprentices.
• Maintenance of uPVC doors and windows.
• Management of the upholstery team.
• Management of a fully equipped carpentry workshop and spray booth off-site, including logistics.

A van will be provided for transportation to and from the workshop.
