Una consultoría de recursos humanos internacional busca un Business Development Manager para liderar el crecimiento de su práctica de Ingeniería en Barcelona. El candidato ideal contará con al menos 7 años de experiencia en el sector, deberá gestionar clientes y dirigir un equipo de consultores para lograr un alto rendimiento. Formación

  • Mínimo 7 años de experiencia en la industria de Ingeniería.
  • Experiencia previa en desarrollo de negocios, ventas o consultoría de reclutamiento es un gran plus.
  • Fluidez en español e inglés requerida, otro idioma europeo es un plus.

Responsabilidades

  • Desarrollar y gestionar un sólido portafolio de clientes en el sector de Ingeniería.
  • Impulsar iniciativas de desarrollo empresarial y expandir cuentas clave en España y Europa.
  • Supervisar y apoyar proyectos de reclutamiento para roles técnicos, gerenciales y ejecutivos.
  • Reclutar, desarrollar y orientar a un equipo de consultores para asegurar la excelencia.
  • Fomentar una cultura de equipo colaborativa y de alto rendimiento.

About the role

Actual Talent is currently expanding its international footprint to become a key partner in Engineering talent acquisition and development across Europe.

We support recruitment projects across multiple Engineering domains, including Manufacturing, Industry, Energy, Pharma & Biotech, and Supply Chain & Logistics.

We are now looking for a Business Development Manager – HR Consulting (Engineering) to lead the growth of our Engineering practice in Barcelona.

This role combines business development, client leadership, and team management, within a high-growth HR consultancy environment.

Key responsibilities

As Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for driving the growth of the Engineering practice, building long‑term client partnerships, and leading a team of consultants toward high performance and impact.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and managing a strong portfolio of clients within the Engineering sector.
  • Driving business development initiatives and expanding key accounts across Spain and Europe.
  • Overseeing and supporting recruitment projects for technical, managerial, and executive roles within engineering environments.
  • Recruiting, developing, and mentoring a team of consultants to ensure excellence in delivery and client satisfaction.
  • Fostering a collaborative, entrepreneurial, and high-performance team culture.
Requirements
Experience
  • Minimum 7 years of experience within the Engineering industry.
  • Previous exposure to business development, sales, or recruitment consultancy is a strong plus.
Education
  • BSc or MSc in Engineering or a related technical field (strongly preferred).
Languages
  • Fluency in Spanish and English required.
  • A third European language is a plus.

  • Strong commercial mindset with a consultative approach.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proactive, adaptable, and comfortable in fast-paced, growth-oriented environments.
