Overview

Position in Humanities, Languages and Philological Sciences. The receptionist handles reservations, works with computers and manages reservation programs, greets guests at check-in and check-out, and allocates rooms to ensure efficient operations.


Responsibilities


  • Make and manage reservations; work with computers and manage reservation programs; greet guests at check-in and check-out; allocate rooms; perform tasks efficiently.

  • Manage complaints and problems; handle special requests; oversee basic accounting and payments control.

  • Use several languages by phone, email or in person; multitask as a receptionist and assist in other areas of the hotel.

  • Answer telephone calls; check in/check out; monitor bookings and availability; control prices and promotions; resolve problems; assist customers; manage online reputation on social media (Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, Twitter, TripAdvisor, Trivago, etc.).


Qualifications


  • Multilingual communication skills; ability to speak several languages.

  • Experience with reservations/front desk operations; basic accounting and payments control.

  • Customer service orientation; ability to multitask and work in a hospitality environment.
