You will be responsible for digitalizing construction operations, supporting data management for over 1600 clubs, and collaborating with construction partners. The ideal candidate has a degree in architecture or construction engineering, strong analytical skills, and experience with modeling software like Revit.

Do you know Basic-Fit opens the most gyms in Europe per year We are growing fast with about 100 new clubs per year and we are therefore looking for someone to join our internal construction team to handle this rapid expansion and who wants to grow along with our beautiful company. If you have a strong interest in the Basic-Fit building process and you are our next BIM Modeler then read on!

As a BIM Modeler you will be part of our BIM team within the property department.

You will be responsible for the digitalization of the construction operations including the asset management for all 1600 clubs located in the 6 countries where Basic-Fit doing so you will also speak directly to the construction partners and suppliers BIM department and support them during the digitalization process.

With your experience and knowledge you will help us to fulfil the Basic-Fit expansion goals and make the construction of our clubs more cost efficient.

You are responsible for

• Supporting Basic-Fit with data from the 3D models
• Using your knowledge and experience make proposals for integrating the BIM environment within Basic-Fit alternative working methods and contribute ideas on increasing efficiency economies of scale and reducing failure costs
• Creating 3D models for potential new locations and existing one
• Collaborate with architects and engineers to ensure designs meet our needs and comply with regulations
• Creating clash detection report to minimize site construction risks
• Review designs for potential issues or conflicts and work with the team to find solutions
• Participate in project meetings and provide updates on the progress of the design

In this role you will report directly to our BIM Manager. You will also work closely with Construction Engineers and Architects.

An open person who is not afraid of change. You are practical and like to get things done. You have a structured way of thinking and are used to working in several projects at the same time.

• You have a higher professional education degree in architecture construction engineering or a comparable study
• Experience modelling with point cloud
• You have strong analytical skills
• You are able to have a good and clear communication with the internal and external teams
• You have knowledge of the MS Office package
• Experience with Revit (MEP is an advantage)
• You speak and write well in English. Communication internally and externally is in English. Knowledge of Dutch French German and / or Spanish is of added value
• Knowledge of Autodesk DOCS and their related products is an advantage
• Knowledge of Smartsheet is an advantage
• Knowledge of Dynamo / Phyton is an advantage
