The Alpega Group is looking for a Bilingual Copywriter to join our Creative & Content team in Barcelona. You'll be writing for two distinct audiences: enterprise Shippers who need strategic, long-form content, and SMB Carriers who respond to community-driven, direct messaging. This position will be based in Barcelona, Spain.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Your job? Take complex logistics technology and turn it into content that actually gets read. That means everything from white papers and thought leadership articles to punchy ad copy and campaign headlines. You'll need to switch gears quickly, from crafting a detailed blog post in the morning to writing a scroll-stopping LinkedIn ad by lunch.

This isn't a role where you'll be churning out generic corporate content. We want someone who can conceptualise campaigns, not just execute briefs. Someone who understands that good B2B copy builds trust and drives results in equal measure.

  • Write long-form content that positions Alpega as a thought leader: white papers, eBooks, case studies, and blog articles. The goal is to educate, build credibility, and generate qualified leads.
  • Create short-form copy that converts: email campaigns, landing pages, social ads, and banner copy. You'll balance creative hooks with clear calls to action.
  • Develop campaign concepts from the ground up, working closely with designers and the wider marketing team to bring ideas to life across channels.
  • Adapt content across English and German markets, ensuring messaging resonates culturally while staying true to the brand voice.
  • Support lead generation initiatives by creating gated assets, nurture sequences, and conversion-focused content.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
  • Languages (non-negotiable): Native-level proficiency in both English (British) and German. This is essential. You'll be writing original content in both languages daily, not translating. If you're not fully bilingual, this role isn't the right fit.
  • Experience: 2 to 5 years in copywriting, ideally with a mix of agency and in-house experience. B2B is essential. Bonus points if you've worked in SaaS, technology, or professional services.
  • Writing skills: You can write a clear, well-structured 3,000-word article just as confidently as a 50-character headline. You understand pacing, tone, and when to get to the point.
  • Creative thinking: You bring ideas, not just execution. You're comfortable presenting campaign concepts and defending creative choices.
  • Commercial awareness: You get that content needs to perform. You're familiar with lead generation, demand generation, and how content fits into the buyer journey.
  • Curiosity: You're genuinely interested in learning about new industries, products, and audiences. Logistics experience isn't required, but a willingness to get stuck in is.
  • AI fluency: You're comfortable using AI writing tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Jasper, Writer, or similar) to accelerate your workflow, whether that's brainstorming, drafting, or editing. You see AI as a collaborator, not a replacement, and you know when to use it and when to write from scratch.
NICE TO HAVE
  • Experience in logistics, supply chain, or transportation (though we'll teach you everything you need to know).
  • Background in advertising agencies. You'll have developed the pace, creative rigour, and client management skills that serve well in fast-moving environments.
  • Familiarity with SEO principles and content optimization for search.
  • Experience working with marketing automation tools and understanding how content fits into nurture campaigns.
  • Hands-on experience with content automation platforms and AI-assisted workflows for scaling content production across multiple languages and formats.
