Business Intelligence Manager (12‑Month Maternity Cover)

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Senior Business Intelligence Manager experienced in Power BI to join our team on a 12‑month maternity cover basis. This role requires a highly Power BI‑skilled individual who can seamlessly bridge the gap between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring that data‑driven insights effectively support strategic decision‑making.
The ideal candidate will not only be proficient in Business Intelligence tools and methodologies but also possess excellent communication skills to engage with both technical experts and non‑technical stakeholders. They will take an active role in requirements gathering and brainstorming sessions, providing valuable input rather than simply executing predefined development tasks.

What you'll get to do
  • Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards, providing actionable insights to key stakeholders.
  • Manage a BI team.
  • Ensure data integrity, quality, and security across multiple platforms.
  • Act as a liaison between technical teams (IT Team) and business stakeholders (Strategy and Market Intelligence), ensuring effective communication and alignment of objectives.
  • Lead brainstorming and requirements‑gathering sessions, actively participating in discussions to shape solutions rather than simply executing instructions.
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally to identify opportunities for leveraging data to improve business processes.

Must‑Have
  • Strong proficiency in Power BI for dashboard creation and data visualization.
  • Advanced skills in MS SQL Server.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
  • Strategic mindset with a hands‑on approach to problem‑solving and decision‑making.
  • Experience in leading and actively participating in brainstorming and requirements‑gathering discussions.
  • Familiarity with Market Data (e.g. Nielsen/Circana) and Financial reporting and P&L.
Nice to Have
  • Knowledge of Alteryx for data automation and transformation.
  • Familiarity with Google Big Query for cloud‑based data analysis.
  • Experience with Azure Data Factory for data integration and pipeline development.
  • Exposure to SAP Datasphere for enterprise data connectivity and governance.
  • Experience in Beauty Industry, FMCG or Retail.
