At TechBiz Global, we provide recruitment services to our TOP clients from our portfolio. We are currently seeking a Python Engineer to join one of our clients' teams in Prague. Responsibilities:

1. Develop and maintain Python applications.
2. Deliver solid and maintainable software.
3. Translate business requirements into technical solutions.
4. Implement, review, support, and debug scope as required.
5. Write technical specifications and define project architecture.
6. Write unit and integration tests.
7. Participate in code reviews.
8. Communicate effectively with stakeholders, both verbally and in writing.

The tech stack is continually evolving. Currently, the tools include:

• Languages: Python
• Tools: Kubernetes, Terraform, Docker, AWS, Grafana, Firebase

Methodologies: Agile, Scrum; with 14-day sprints and stand-ups held online via Slack.

Job requirements:

• At least 4-5 years of experience as a Software Developer.
• Experience with fintech processes and preferably knowledge of cards issuing/processing.
• Proficiency in clean coding methodologies (SOLID, YAGNI).
• Fluency in SQL, Python, Unix/bash scripting.
• Ability to write understandable and maintainable code across multiple programming languages.
• Experience with SQL databases such as PostgreSQL and MySQL.
• Good understanding of Django.
• Familiarity with JIRA and Confluence.
• Experience working in cross-functional teams is a plus.
