COMPANY OVERVIEW
A leading Japanese company for Auto-ID and its related products is now looking for a Financial Compliance (m/f/d) for European offices. Based in Netherlands but remote based.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support the company's European offices’ governance cycle across multiple countries as part of the finance team.
• Maintain a passion for regulatory compliance (40%), governance risk (20%), and finance management (40%).
• Prepare documentation related to finance and compliance with support from external advisors.
• Proactively update policies, regulations, and rules internally across European offices.
• Analyze and oversee the accounting team to ensure regulations are followed.
• Assist the European Head of Finance in structuring and analyzing European reporting.
• Conduct audits and provide advice to enhance internal control maturity.
• Set annual governance targets for each EU subsidiary and monitor progress.
• Coordinate tasks between the headquarters in Japan and local European offices.

• At least 2-3 years of experience in financial institutions, banks, insurance companies, asset management firms, or credit card companies in the Netherlands.
• Degree in business management or a relevant field.
• Business fluency in English; Dutch is an asset.
