A leading packaging company is seeking a Global Key Account Manager based in Germany. This role focuses on managing strategic automotive accounts, driving sales growth, and developing innovative account strategies. Candidates should possess strong business acumen and excellent communication skills, with a degree or equivalent experience. The position allows for remote work with approximately 40% travel across Germany, Belgium, or the Netherlands.
As a Global Key Account Manager , you will lead, develop, win and maintain business with the strategic automotive accounts, achieving Key Sales KPI’s and Account Plan targets.
You will play a leading role in creating, implementing, and driving the key accounts strategy for the key Divisional customers within the customer and across DS Smith.
Qualified to Degree level (or equivalent experience);
Strong business acumen, commercial experience and demonstrable results from driving and managing sales growth, successful development and execution of account strategy at a Divisional level;
Ability to navigate a complex global matrix environment;
Proven ability to grasp, analyse and initiate actions based on strong financial insights and understanding;
A resilient, entrepreneurial and persuasive change agent with effective communication, networking and stakeholder management skills;
Fluent written and spoken English; additional European languages are advantageous;
Previous experience in the packaging industry preferred but not required.
Location : Remote, based in Germany, Belgium or the Netherlands; c. 40% travel
