Within your thesis, you will investigate how to design a cyber security concept for secure industrial 5G communication across various application domains. You will collaborate with our institute and international partners on an EU-funded research project.

• Research current cyber security aspects in industrial 5G communication
• Design a concept to incorporate cyber security into different industrial 5G use cases
• Validate the developed concept with industry and research partners

• Studying mechanical engineering, computer science, computational engineering science, electrical engineering, or a similar field
• Experience in industrial cyber security (standards and frameworks) is advantageous
• Initiative, motivation, and teamwork skills
• Good English language skills

• Practical experience alongside your studies
• Supervision and collaboration within a dedicated team
• Access to state-of-the-art equipment including edge cloud systems and 5G infrastructure
• Flexible working arrangements to balance study and work
