Your Mission:

As our Platform Engineer, you’ll play a critical role in optimizing our platform to ensure stability, functionality, and scalability. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver a cutting-edge microservices architecture that enhances our platform's performance and reliability. Additionally, you'll support the team in setting up infrastructure, implementing CI/CD processes, debugging issues, and ensuring seamless operations with a robust tech stack.

Key Responsibilities:

• Modernize the platform with scalable web services architecture and ensure system stability.
• Build and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and maintain infrastructure with GCP, Terraform, and Kubernetes.
• Monitor and optimize system performance using Grafana and Sentry.
• Debug and troubleshoot systems, including JavaScript/TypeScript applications.
• Support and maintain data processes with SQL, ETL tools ensuring the seamless functioning by setting them up, monitoring their performance and troubleshooting any issues.
• Collaborate across teams and act as a technical advisor for stakeholders.
• Occasionally perform administrative tasks such as setting up accounts and granting access for onboarding of new team members.

Your Profile:

• Experience: Proven professional experience in platform engineering or DevOps, with a strong grasp of web applications and cloud-based environments.

• Technical Expertise:
  • Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
  • Hands-on experience with Firebase, Terraform, Kubernetes, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools like Grafana and Sentry. Experience with SQL, ETL tools, and Firebase for data management and app enhancement.
  • Basic familiarity with tools like PowerBI, WordPress, and Google Workspace.
  • Strong skills in debugging and supporting JavaScript/TypeScript applications.

• Problem-Solving: Independent, structured, and solution-oriented working style.
• Teamwork: Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with various departments and leadership.
• Language: Fluent in English.
