We’re seeking a dynamic and forward-thinking pricing analyst to join our innovative team. In this pivotal role, you’ll drive the transformation of our legal tech pricing strategies while supporting both the immediate team and fee earners across the firm as a key business-facing member of the accounting department.

• Serve as the pricing innovation leader with a strong tech focus. You’ll spearhead collaboration between Practice Groups and the Legal Tech team to reimagine our pricing framework for digitized legal services, creating new revenue opportunities through tech-enabled solutions. This is an immediate priority that will shape the firm’s digital transformation journey.
• Partner with senior stakeholders to quantify the value proposition of cutting‑edge legal tech solutions, designing innovative pricing methodologies that unlock new revenue streams while maintaining healthy margins.
• Pioneer AI‑driven pricing strategies, working closely with partners and the Head of Legal Tech to develop revolutionary approaches for disaggregated services. You’ll help the firm capitalize on emerging AI technologies by crafting new revenue models, including direct client engagement to test and refine these offerings.
• Lead the monetization of our tech ecosystem – identifying untapped opportunities to create subscription models, usage‑based pricing, and other innovative approaches to generate sustainable revenue from our existing technology investments.
• Drive strategic responses to complex client RFPs and pricing requests, collaborating across departments to develop technology‑enhanced service packages that differentiate our firm in competitive situations.
• Create dynamic pricing models and digital templates that leverage data analytics to optimize fee proposals across our technology‑enabled service offerings.
• Contribute to cross‑functional initiatives designed to enhance financial performance through technology adoption, improving profitability across our digital service lines.
• Design and implement a data‑driven process for post‑matter reviews that captures tech utilization metrics and ROI, creating a feedback loop to continuously refine our pricing strategies.
• Collaborate with the financial systems team to develop innovative Power BI dashboards that visualize technology adoption, pricing effectiveness, and new revenue stream performance.
• Lead workshops and training sessions to elevate the tech pricing capabilities of finance managers, pricing analysts and senior lawyers, fostering a culture of innovation in legal service delivery.

• Agile prioritization skills are essential. You’ll thrive in our fast‑paced environment, managing competing deadlines with flexibility while staying focused on tech‑enabled revenue opportunities.
• Advanced data analysis capabilities, particularly in Excel (pivot tables, dynamic arrays, conditional formatting, data validation) and ideally some experience with pricing algorithms or financial modelling tools.
• Innovation mindset with a commitment to excellence. You’re passionate about delivering high‑quality work while challenging traditional approaches to legal service pricing and identifying new revenue opportunities.
• Exceptional communication talents. This role will be based in Germany (Düsseldorf, where the finance team is located, though we’re open to discussing other German office locations) and requires proficiency in European languages (at least German and English). You’ll translate complex pricing concepts across technical and non‑technical stakeholders, making the business case for legal tech investments.
• Collaborative leadership style. You’ll work across departments to champion new pricing approaches for tech‑enabled services, building consensus among diverse stakeholders including technologists, lawyers, and finance professionals.
• Strategic attention to detail, balancing innovative thinking with rigorous analysis to become a trusted advisor on technology investments and new revenue streams.
• Strong analytical capabilities with the ability to model complex scenarios for emerging technologies and estimate their revenue potential.
• Experience developing pricing strategies for digital services in professional environments, with particular interest in candidates who have bridged traditional and technology‑enabled service models.

We particularly value candidates with strong academic credentials, a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) from an accredited university preferred, formal finance qualifications, and experience pricing digital products in tech or software environments. Experience with subscription‑based models, usage‑based pricing, or other innovative approaches to monetizing digital services would be highly advantageous, though not required. Familiarity with AI technology pricing models is a plus.
