Responsibilities

As a Vice President - Marketing Strategy (all genders) you will play a pivotal role in shaping the strategic direction of our marketing organization. Your responsibilities will focus on identifying market opportunities, analyzing customer and competitor trends, and developing strategic insights to drive marketing investment decisions. You will work closely with the Marketing Lead and leadership team to define the overarching marketing and product marketing vision, support annual and quarterly planning, and develop strategic business cases for growth initiatives.

Day-to-day responsibilities include:

  • Develop and refine the overarching strategic marketing and product marketing vision in close collaboration with the Marketing Lead and leadership team.
  • Build data-driven business cases to support strategic marketing investments and initiatives.
  • Conduct market and competitor analyses and identify key trends and strategic opportunities for the marketing organization.
  • Provide executive-level reporting, insights, and recommendations to enhance marketing strategy and improve return on marketing investment.
  • Collaborate closely with Marketing Operations to develop new initiatives, scale products, and optimize business areas.
  • Act as a sparring partner to marketing and product leads to sharpen the team’s strategic thinking and decision-making.
  • Contribute to cross-functional projects as the strategic marketing lead, ensuring alignment with broader business goals.
  • Work effectively with key stakeholders to support the development and delivery of marketing strategy.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills
  • Proven experience in marketing strategy, consulting or business strategy roles, ideally with exposure to digital or financial services.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize data into actionable strategic insights.
  • Track record of developing executive-ready business cases and strategic recommendations.
  • Experience working closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams such as marketing, technology, product, customer experience, finance, and strategy
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence stakeholders across different levels of the organization. Bring forward solutions / track solutions
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills
  • Experience working within a regulated business would be beneficial
  • Fluency in German
