Are you experienced within an operational logistics role? Then this could be the right vacancy for you! We are recruiting for a Transport Coordinator at GXO Logistics, supporting our logistics site in Hammersbach (Germany).

Your role / What your day as Transport Coordinator looks like:

• Take over the carrier management for one of our warehouses
• Overview the entire transport process
• Run and analyze KPI based reports and optimize processes
• Monitor the entire transport flow with your carriers
• Identify potential improvements in transport processes and implement them
• With your experience you will increase operational efficiency
• Act as an interface between the carriers, the customer and work closely with other departments to ensure smooth operations

Your Profile

• Vocational training in logistics and transport management or similar
• 3-5 years of experience in a similar role in carrier or transport management within a forwarding agency or 3PL environment
• Experience with carrier and warehouse management systems (CMS/WMS)
• Analytical mindset with good Excel skills and ability to take actions based on reports
• Fluent German and English both spoken and written
• You are customer focused, and you are going the extra mile to ensure smooth operations
• You are a team player who can also work independently on assigned tasks
