On behalf of a cutting‑edge clean‑tech start‑up based in Munich, we are seeking a hands‑on Technology Expert to lead the development and scale‑up of a novel chemical recycling process—moving far beyond pyrolysis or gasification to unlock high‑value chemical building blocks from mixed plastic waste.

This is not incremental innovation. Here, you'll be the technical authority central to the design, modelling, and operation of a breakthrough demonstration plant (100–200 kg / day input), working at the intersection of chemistry, engineering, and environmental impact.

The ideal candidate

• 10+ years of chemical or petrochemical engineering experience
• Demonstrable experience working with Oxidation processes, PET (purified terephthalic acid) or acetyls
• Strong background in reactor design, process scale‑up, and Aspen or equivalent modelling tools
• Practical leadership in cross‑functional engineering teams
• Eager to operate in a fast‑paced, purpose‑driven environment focused on climate solutions
