These are your main tasks
In an international project environment, the entire supply chain is essential to the success of our company. You request quotes, compare prices, negotiate with suppliers, and keep an eye on all key data. International sourcing, logistics, sustainability, and smart purchasing strategies are also part of your role. In short: you bring technology, projects, and procurement together in a smart and efficient way!
This results in the following areas of responsibility:
- Operational and technical procurement of components and systems in close coordination with our project teams by identifying cross-project needs and leveraging synergies across the company
- Supporting customer projects through smooth material and component procurement – from the proposal phase to final delivery – in close collaboration with project management, engineering, and sales
- Capturing and evaluating project-specific requirements and deriving appropriate procurement strategies – always with the bigger picture in mind
- Preparing requests for quotation (RFQs), conducting offer comparisons, and independently negotiating prices in a technically demanding small-series environment
- Coordinating all commercial, technical, and project-related details with suppliers and internal stakeholders
- Managing purchase orders, negotiating terms and conditions, and maintaining and monitoring relevant procurement data
- Supporting the further development of supplier relationships
- Assisting in the identification of procurement risks and implementing appropriate mitigation measures
- Supporting international procurement processes, including logistics and customs handling
- Contributing to the implementation of sustainability requirements and supply chain standards

These skills are needed
- you have successfully completed a technical or business-related degree (e.g. industrial engineering) or possess a comparable qualification
- You have a solid technical understanding and ideally experience in technical procurement or a similar field
- You are well-versed in contractual and legal aspects of the procurement process
- You enjoy working closely with project teams and technical departments and are confident handling technical documents such as bills of materials or drawings
- You approach negotiations with confidence and a solution-oriented mindset, and you know how to strike the right tone with suppliers and partners
- german language has to be spoken and written fluently
- You think entrepreneurially, act pragmatically, and have a good sense for sustainable solutions
- You work independently, in a structured and responsible manner – even in a dynamic project environment
- You are proficient in using Microsoft Office
- You have excellent German and English language skills, both written and spoken
