We are looking for a Team Lead Supply Chain (Liquid and Bean Coordination). The role is a local key position and responsible of the internal coordination of outbound liquid transports and the to make sure that the factory receives the right amount of beans in volume and quality. The Team Lead must coordinate two colleagues and needs to make sure that the team keeps the budget figures under control and to reach the necessary KPIs and service.
Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate a team of 2 colleagues, ensuring KPIs are consistently met and budget targets are maintained.
- Define, track, and report monthly budget figures; analyze and explain deviations, aligned with the local Supply Chain Manager.
- Monitor KPIs such as OTIF and complaints, implementing corrective actions to improve performance.
- Provide backup and support for daily liquid transport and bean supply tasks.
- Coordinate liquid transport from factory to customer, including booking and tracking shipments.
- Align product availability with the coordination and planning team in Louviers and confirm orders on time.
- Liaise with truck companies and carriers, ensuring timely dispatch of transport orders.
- Communicate delivery status with Customer Care.
- Support the bean supply chain coordinator in weekly and monthly supply planning, maintaining stock targets.
- Track, trace, and report supply chain performance.
- Validate transport invoices and ensure accurate cost management.
- Be available for standby service after office hours or on weekends to handle factory, QA, or transport issues.
- Lead projects related to liquid transport and bean coordination, including new blends or process improvements.
- Support the local Supply Chain Manager and act as a substitute in their absence.
- Develop and maintain reporting systems and dashboards to improve data visibility, including :
Sales and transport order monitoring for KPI improvement
Warehouse and inventory tracking to maintain bean stock control
Candidate Profile
Education & Qualifications
- Completed commercial apprenticeship
- Practical experience in a production environment
Professional Experience & Skills
- 4–6 years of practical experience in supply chain or logistics coordination after apprenticeship
- Team leadership experience with proven ability to motivate and guide colleagues
- Strong background in liquid / raw material transport planning and organization
- Experience in customer service and claim handling
- Project management experience
- Hands-on experience with customs handling for import / export
- Fluent in German and English (written and spoken)
Technical Competencies
- Advanced IT skills, particularly Microsoft Office (Excel expertise essential)
- Experienced in SAP R / 3
