Responsibilities
Take charge of warehouse operational efficiency and cost control. Optimize the use of manpower, equipment, and space to reduce the unit cost of inbound and outbound operations.
Ensure service levels and accuracy. Guarantee the timeliness and accuracy of receiving, picking, and shipping processes, and minimize issues such as wrong shipments, missed shipments, and delayed deliveries. Develop and monitor KPIs, such as on-time delivery rate, inventory accuracy, and order processing cycle time. Make appropriate capacity and manpower arrangements during peak seasons.
Handle safety, compliance, and risk management. Prevent inventory loss, theft, and damage. Establish traceable operating procedures and formulate contingency plans for emergencies.
Manage the daily performance of service providers. Continuously improve service quality and cost-effectiveness through methods such as SLAs, KPIs, and contract negotiations. Set up a comparison and alternative mechanism among multiple service providers.
Analyze and optimize the performance and cost structure of service providers using operational data, BI tools, and market price information to drive continuous improvement.
Establish strategic partnerships with key service providers in Europe. Be resolute in driving rectification when performance fails to meet the standards, and develop cross-cultural communication skills.
Requirements
Mandatory Requirements
Have at least 3 years of experience in warehouse operations or third-party logistics management (with at least 1 year of direct experience in managing service providers). Be able to independently develop and implement SLAs and KPIs, and drive performance improvement and cost optimization through data analysis
Proficient in using WMS, TMS, and data analysis tools. Familiar with warehouse safety and compliance requirements. Possess cross-departmental and cross-cultural communication and coordination abilities
Preferred Requirements
Have experience in managing European overseas warehouses or multiple warehouse locations. Have participated in large-scale projects such as warehouse site selection, construction, or relocation
Have the ability to manage cost budgets, drive automation and digitalization projects
