You are currently enrolled at a university or university of applied sciences.

Desired Skills:

  • Programming skills in Python and/or R
  • Interest in data analysis and user studies
  • Interest in virtual reality and immersive technologies
  • Basic knowledge of or interest in working with Unity or similar development environments
  • Careful and structured working style, ideally with experience in research data preparation and documentation
  • Good German and/or English skills (written and spoken)
Your Duties and Responsibilities
  • Co-supervising and conducting user tests
  • Assisting with the post-processing and preparation of test data
  • Collaborating on the development of scenes and interactions in Unity
  • Assisting with the recording of new data sets (360° videos, avatar and room creation via scans or 3D modeling)
What We Offer

The successful candidate will be employed as a student assistant. The position is to be filled at the earliest possible date and offered for a fixed term of initially one year. Continued employment is planned. This is a part-time contract position. The standard weekly hours will be 10 hours. The salary is based on the RWTH Guidelines for Student and Graduate Assistants. The position corresponds to a pay grade of 14.50 euros per hour.
