We’re are currently hiring a Staff Product Designer - to build and lead the product design and developing the internal design culture and team. You will work with a team of four designers and report directly to the CPO.

YOUR IMPACT

• Own design quality : Continuously test and review the product to identify UX / UI flaws and opportunities. Collaborate closely with engineers to improve design implementation. Champion design quality across the company and ensure it's treated as a first‑class priority. Set up better design review processes and establish a higher design bar for everything they ship.
• Develop and mentor the design team : Mentor and grow the skills of the more junior designers, especially around UI and visual craft. Provide structured feedback and guidance to help the team improve.
• Design hands‑on : Take on core product features end‑to‑end, from first sketches to final implementation. Collaborate with product and engineering on early ideas and bring them to life through strong design execution. Lead the design of larger feature areas or use cases as they scale.
• Shape the product vision : Improve user experience & engagement. Expand and refine monetization features to build a sustainable business model.

YOUR STORY

• Background : 4+ years of product design experience in a fast‑paced, high‑growth B2C startup environment, owning everything from UX to UI and translating user needs into impactful product experiences.
• Design Quality : Proven ability to elevate UX / UI standards, set up design review processes, and collaborate closely with engineers to ensure high‑quality implementation across all shipped features.
• Mentorship : Experience mentoring and guiding junior to mid‑level designers, providing structured feedback, and fostering a strong internal design culture without heavy management responsibilities.
• Hands‑On Craft : Strong track record of taking product features end‑to‑end—from first sketches to polished, high‑performing interfaces—balancing creativity with clear business impact.
• Product Impact : Ability to design engaging, joyful user experiences that drive both user satisfaction and business outcomes, including monetization features and AI‑driven learning tools.
• Vision & Ownership : Entrepreneurial mindset with the freedom to rethink, reinvent, and raise the bar for the entire product experience - introducing polish, delight, and thoughtful motion design.
• Languages : Fluent English; German is a plus.
• Location : Ready to work from Berlin office (with some flexibility).
