Your Responsibilities
1. Safety & Core Responsibility
  • Promote a strong safety culture within the area of responsibility
  • Ensure that safety rules and standards are understood and followed
2. Supply Chain Design & Cost Calculation (AVP Phase)
  • Develop optimal supply‑chain concepts including resource and process planning
  • Calculate supply‑chain and packaging costs (cost per part, investments)
  • Ensure quotations are based on standard processes and standard equipment
  • Identify and escalat[e] industrial and operational risks
3. Project Development & Implementation
  • Apply POMS and supply‑chain standards
  • Design the complete logistics chain: inbound, internal flows, outbound
  • Define optimal inventory levels with a strong focus on lead‑time optimisation
  • Develop functional specifications for semi‑finished and final packaging based on customer requirements and production constraints
  • Coordinate approval, fine‑tuning, and readiness of packaging through all trial phases until customer validation
  • Design layouts for warehouses, material flows, and transportation routes
  • Analyse change impacts (scope, product, volumes) regarding costs, packaging, resources, and logistics systems
  • Participate in supplier selection (transport, SILS, platforms, packaging, dynamic storage) and provide technical validation
  • Document and implement supply‑chain processes and policies
  • Perform logistics FMEA and support audits
  • Support the plant during SOP and ramp‑up phases
Your Profile
  • Bachelor’s degree with relevant experience or a Master’s degree
  • Very good English skills
  • Strong MS Office skills; confident working with technical tools (e.g., 3D viewer)
  • Plant Logistics Engineer or similar role in an industrial company or logistics provider
  • Solid understanding of lean principles and supply‑chain tools
  • Good understanding of mechanical/engineering fundamentals
  • Ability to assess technical feasibility of logistics and packaging solutions
  • Strong commitment to safety
  • Customer orientation, team spirit, autonomy
  • Strong communication skills in multi‑functional & multicultural environments
  • Openness to new ideas and willingness to challenge existing solutions
  • High willingness to travel
