We are looking for a (Senior) Software Engineer (all genders) with a strong background in C++ and a focus on mobile development to actively contribute to the evolution of our Augmented Reality Remote Assistance solution (Assist AR). This role is ideal for someone who enjoys bridging native C++ components with mobile platforms such as Android (Kotlin) or iOS (Swift). You will report to the Team Lead Software Development and work in an agile, modern environment where your contributions will have a direct impact.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop multi-threaded and high-scaling server- and client-side components for our Aftersales/remote assistance solution.
• Ensure our software runs efficiently and reliably across a wide range of systems, including mobile platforms.
• Stay up to date with the latest trends in software development and propose improvements to our architecture and technology stack to enhance scalability, maintainability, and performance.

Requirements

• University degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
• At least 5 years of professional experience in software development
• Excellent knowledge of modern C++ (preferably C++20)
• Proven experience working with mobile platforms (Android or iOS) and integrating C++ with Kotlin or Swift
• Solid understanding of mobile development workflows and performance optimization on mobile devices
• Interest in real-time video communication technologies
• Familiarity with design patterns and object-oriented programming principles
• Experience with web technologies (TypeScript / HTML5) or C# is a plus
• Fluency in English is mandatory; German is a plus
