Job Description
This role is deeply platform-centric: you will drive governance frameworks, enforce technical standards, strengthen access and security models, and ensure ongoing compliance with GDPR and internal controls. You will serve as a senior platform specialist within the Admin team, collaborating with Developers and Product Managers only where necessary to maintain alignment on architecture and technical integrity.
Platform Governance & Architecture
- Own and evolve the core Salesforce platform (Sales and Service Cloud) with a focus on stability, scalability, and internal control alignment.
- Define and enforce governance standards for configuration, automation, metadata structure, and lifecycle management.
- Establish and maintain platform guidelines for naming conventions, documentation quality, change control, and environment strategy.
- Ensure robust oversight of platform performance, system limits, integration behavior, and data model consistency.
Security, Access Control & Compliance
- Lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of Enpal’s Salesforce access model, including Role‑Based Access Control (RBAC), Permission Set architecture, and least‑privilege principles.
- Strengthen audit readiness by maintaining system documentation, access logs, data flow descriptions, and compliance‑oriented configuration records.
- Support GDPR adherence through data minimization practices, field‑level protection, data retention controls, and structured data governance.
- Collaborate with Security and Compliance teams to ensure adherence to MFA/SSO strategies, integration security controls, and platform risk mitigation measures.
- Ensure alignment with enterprise policies related to data security, identity management, and operational compliance.
Operational Excellence & Lifecycle Management
- Proactively monitor and optimize platform health, system performance, automation reliability, and integration consistency.
- Manage ongoing platform operations such as high‑priority issue resolution, release quality, and adherence to CI/CD and GitHub‑based deployment processes.
- Evaluate and refine internal controls for change management, environment separation, and release governance.
- Maintain high‑quality system documentation, architectural references, and operational runbooks.
Technical Guidance & Internal Enablement
- Serve as a senior technical point of contact within the Admin team for platform governance, configuration standards, and complex troubleshooting.
- Review proposed solutions for compliance with governance standards and platform strategy.
- Contribute to internal knowledge sharing and skill development within the Admin team (without assuming formal line management).
- Provide platform‑focused training and guidance to internal stakeholders when relevant to governance, security, or operational processes.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands‑on Salesforce experience in complex, regulated, or compliance‑driven environments.
- Deep expertise in Salesforce configuration: Flows, Validation Rules, Permission Sets, RBAC models, Custom Objects, and platform automation design.
- Strong understanding of data architecture, relational databases, platform limits, and scalable configuration patterns.
- Experience with access control frameworks, data security practices, audit requirements, and governance models.
- Familiarity with GDPR and other applicable compliance frameworks as they relate to CRM data.
- Comfortable operating in agile environments with a focus on systematic improvements, technical rigor, and operational stability.
- Confident in reviewing solution designs, enforcing governance standards, and working with Developers and Product Managers on architectural alignment.
- Comfortable with technical concepts such as APEX, Java, or integration patterns.
- Bonus: experience with Talkdesk CTI, middleware solutions, or CI/CD pipelines using GitHub.
