Your mission

As the Senior Sales & Proposals Manager, you will lead and manage the development of compelling and winning bids for defence contracts. Reporting to the SVP of Nordics, you will be responsible for the end-to-end management of the engagement with the customer as well as political stakeholders, bid process, ensuring compliance with our internal processes and implementing a robust gate review governance approach. This role can be located in Stockholm, the Öresund Region or in Berlin.

Responsibilities

• Build up a strong and reliable customer & partner network with stakeholders within politics, relevant administrating bodies as national procurement agencies and the defence forces and possible industry partners.
• Lead and manage the full bid lifecycle, from opportunity identification through to submission and contract award.
• Establish and embed a gate review governance approach to ensure consistent, high-quality inputs for decision-making.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts, technical teams, and BD personnel to develop compelling and compliant proposals.
• Develop and maintain a library of reusable content, templates, and proposal resources.
• Ensure all proposals are submitted on time and within budget through a master bid planning schedule
• Contribute to post-bid reviews to identify areas for improvement and lessons learned.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, competitor activities, and government procurement regulations.
• Collaborate within the Go-to-Market area to develop best practices.
• Be ready to further develop and lead a regional Nordic Team in the future

Qualifications

• Proven experience in managing and winning large, complex bids, preferably in the defence sector or for government contracts.
• Professional experience within the military, defence industry or relevant government organisations/ authorities are highly welcome.
• Excellent project management, organisational, and time management skills.
• Strong written, communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
• Adaptability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment with a strong drive for innovation and continuous improvement.
• Must be able to communicate fluently and professionally in at least Swedish and/or Norwegian and English.
• Eligible to obtain and maintain Security Clearance.
