A leading online marketplace in Berlin is seeking a Senior Product Manager - Advertising (d/f/m) to oversee a vital monetisation channel. This role involves leading a cross-functional team to enhance user-focused business outcomes, requiring strong skills in digital product management and stakeholder management. We are looking for a talented Senior Product Manager - Advertising (d/f/m) who will be responsible for one the most important kleinanzeigen’s monetisation channels, User-Facing Advertising.
In this role, you're responsible for leading a cross-functional team to drive positive and lasting user-focused business outcomes. You have a heart for identifying best revenue opportunities in the right balance with frictionless user experience.
You will join a multidisciplinary team of all functions (web, iOS, Android), as well as Analyst, AdTech manager, Business Developer and designer. You will work closely with the Engineering Manager and Tech Leads.
This is a hybrid role, and our office is based in Berlin Charlottenburg.
The role:
Grow Kleinanzeigen business through Advertising with your customer-centric mindset and business-savvy product leadership
Work in an international, autonomous & cross-functional team, OKR-driven, you will carve out your team's priorities and what to explore to deliver value to users and advertisers equally
You ensure clarity, consensus, and alignment around your key priorities and achievements
You facilitate cross-functional discovery & delivery, drive understanding of problems, and ensure reaching tangible outcomes
You drive collaboration within Kleinanzeigen to find technology-based monetisation opportunities, and delivering highly-impactful hypothesis in the data-driven way
What we are looking for:
Experience in digital product management (Discovery and Delivery) in an agile environment
Strong track record of building "outstanding" products across multiple device types; experience in the domain of commercial selling/Retail, Consumer, or Marketplace Commerce is a plus
Ability to break down complex problems, structure and solve them iteratively and incrementally
Strong Communication & Stakeholder Management skills, aligning cross-functional teams, landing successful executive reviews, and driving rapid execution.
Strong analytical skills, including the ability to identify key problems and define KPIs, collect data, communicate results and arrive at conclusions
Strong design & UX skills, including the ability to come up with research hypotheses, drive collaboration with Product Designer, and able to communicate potential outcome visually via prototypes.
Good technical understanding and intellectually curious to explore
