We are looking for a Senior Procurement Officer for our client based in Luxembourg for a first assignment of 7 months.

Responsibilities
  • Draft and ensure quality control of Terms of Reference for assignments and calls for proposals.
  • Manage the Call-Off procedure, ensuring compliance with internal processes and deadlines.
  • Initiate and manage requisitions, ensuring their accurate conversion into purchase orders.
  • Ensure timely and accurate handling of supplier invoices, coordinating with internal stakeholders and finance teams.
  • Maintain and update supplier databases and ongoing contracts.
  • Collaborate with project teams to identify procurement needs and optimize sourcing processes.
  • Participate in supplier evaluation and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for supplier performance.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements related to procurement and contract management.
  • Support ad hoc procurement-related projects or analyses as needed.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in procurement, contract management, or related functions, ideally within a structured or international environment.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Fluency in English (C1 level required); additional languages are a plus.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of working both independently and in a team environment.
  • Familiarity with procurement software or ERP systems is an advantage.
