Overview

We are looking for a skilled Senior Integration Engineer (OpenText) to support our client in redesigning and optimizing their integration processes. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience with Extended ECM platform integrations for applications lacking out-of-the-box connectors. This role involves working on both on-premises and cloud-based solutions, with a focus on maximizing the capabilities of the Extended ECM (xECM) platform.

Flexible: The work location for this role includes a mix of working remotely and onsite at a client in Luxembourg.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, design, and implement integration solutions using OpenText Extended ECM (xECM) platform capabilities.
• Replace existing customized code with standardized, reusable integration patterns.
• Support the transition from legacy REST API integrations via ESB to Azure API Management.
• Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to assess integration requirements for on-premises and cloud-based systems.
• Integrate xECM with the Microsoft 365 ecosystem (SharePoint, Teams, Outlook) using Integration Services.
• Ensure solutions are robust, scalable, and secure, while aligned with enterprise architecture principles.
• Produce documentation and provide knowledge transfer to internal teams.

What You’ll Need

• Hands-on experience with Extended ECM platform integrations, particularly for applications without standard connectors.
• Strong knowledge of integration with Microsoft 365 (SharePoint Online, Teams, Outlook) and related Integration Services.
• Expertise in REST API development and API lifecycle management.
• Practical experience with Azure API Management (or similar platforms).
• Understanding of Enterprise Integration Patterns and system interoperability (on-premises and cloud).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.

Experience & Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in IT consulting or system integration roles.
• 3+ years working with OpenText xECM or similar ECM solutions.
• Proven track record of delivering integration projects in cloud or hybrid environments.
• Experience migrating away from legacy ESB solutions.
• Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Azure, OpenText xECM) are a plus.
