Responsibilities

• Business‑law advice to colleagues within civil construction, architectural and engineering law, and preferably public procurement law.
• Comprehensive review of project‑related correspondence from a legal perspective, and preparation of legal opinions, statements and demand letters based on sound legal knowledge.
• Responsibility for court and out‑of‑court proceedings, including commissioning, coordinating and reviewing external legal advisors or lawyers.
• Initiate and implement necessary measures for extrajudicial enforcement of claims in demanding cases with significant economic and strategic importance for the company.
• Active legal project management: negotiation and legal support for extensive, project‑related contracts, as well as contract reviews and drafting.

Ideal Qualifications

• Successfully completed law degree (1st and 2nd state examinations).
• Relevant professional experience as a lawyer in construction, engineering and architectural law or as an in‑house lawyer in a comparable group company, at least 5–7 years.
• Relevant experience or willingness to expand international project business.
• Experience or curiosity in taking on cross‑border project responsibility in an international group.
• Good technical and commercial understanding.
• Goal‑oriented, independent work style and team‑orientated thinking and action.
• Confident manner, strong communication skills, and business‑fluent German and English.
• Curiosity and proactive commitment in the context of legal tech projects.
