Senior Group Accountant

Our client is seeking a skilled Senior Group Accountant to take ownership of consolidated financial reporting and group-wide accounting processes. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in an international environment, has a deep understanding of IFRS, and is confident working independently across entities and systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead preparation and consolidation of group financial statements.
• Manage inter-company transactions and ensure proper reconciliations.
• Implement and maintain IFRS standards across the group.
• Oversee accounting policies and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
• Support month-end and year-end closings, audits, and external reporting.
• Drive continuous improvements in financial systems and internal controls (SAP S4/HANA and Lucanet).
• Partner with external auditors and internal stakeholders on reporting and compliance.
• Contribute to cross-functional finance projects.

Your Profile

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; professional certification (e.g. ACCA, CPA) a plus.
• 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Proficient in SAP S4/HANA and Lucanet.
• Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.
• Independent, reliable, and proactive in managing responsibilities.
• Fluent in German and English.
