Senior Frontend Engineer, Web Publishing team

We’re looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer to join our Web Publishing team at Wolt. Our mission is to build and maintain a platform for publishing content on web in multiple Wolt domains.

We’re a small and mighty team of engineers. We mainly work with React, Typescript, NextJs, and Contentful. We own the tools around web publishing letting our users own the content. We work independently, and partner with other teams in bigger projects.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Developing a platform and shared components covering and supporting multiple parts in Wolt web domains.
• Keeping our toolset and libraries evolving and up to date.
• Ensuring brand consistency and UI/UX/design across our domains.
• Ensuring security, privacy and accessibility in web.
• Supporting our international expansion.

As a member of the team you will:

• Play a pivotal role in contributing to our growing platform and toolset of libraries.
• Collaborate with engineering teams across the organization to understand their needs and implement effective solutions.
• Extend capabilities of Contentful.
• Support and guide our users.

Must haves

• Proven experience in web development and broad TypeScript and React knowledge.
• Deep understanding of modern web technologies and performance optimization techniques.
• Interest in the engineering side of front-end development since the team owns Github actions, CI/CD configuration, test automation, and shared libraries.
• Ability to lead and drive technical projects and improvements across an engineering organization.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to write efficient, maintainable, and scalable code.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• You have solid eyes for beauty in UX, and minimizing user pains is a standard way of building things.
• CMS experience is a big plus.
• Experience with accessibility.
• You’ll be successful in our teams if you quickly grasp new concepts and thrive in an environment of continuous learning and co-operation.🌟
