Overview

Let's talk about the team :

The primary role of the Enterprise Financial Services function is to provide transactional accounting services including, but not limited to, Procure-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash and Record-to-Report. Key deliverables include, but not limited to, compiling and analyzing financial information, preparing balance sheet, income statement, and other reports. Assist in preparation and accurate completion of periodic internal & external financial regulatory & statutory reports. The EFS department comprises the General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and Payroll teams. It is responsible for the accurate accounting of all relevant business transactions in accordance with applicable accounting standards and for timely monthly reporting to ResMed Group Finance for consolidation.

Role and responsibilities
  • Lead accounting services for all ResMed Germany entities (P2P, Expenses, Payroll, O2C, R2R)
  • Ensure accurate financial processes comply with policies and regulations
  • Collaborate with FP&A and GPOs on business partnering and process improvement
  • Deliver accounting services meeting KPIs; drive change and process standardization
  • Work with stakeholders to ensure system adoption and high customer satisfaction
  • Support Oracle FUSION implementation and other system upgrades
  • Manage third-party service providers (e.g., Payroll)
  • Assist EFS Director EMEA in executing ResMed 2030 strategy and Finance Operating Model
  • Remove obstacles to achieve goals
  • Manage team performance, recruitment, and HR actions with People Team
  • Prepare US GAAP and HGB financial statements and reconciliations
  • Optimize internal controls (IKS) and conduct monthly SOX checks
  • Coordinate audits with internal and external auditors
About you
  • Degree in accounting, finance, or related field
  • 10+ years leading finance teams in local / shared services
  • Experience with ERP systems (MS Navision, ORACLE preferred)
  • Professional accounting qualification (internationally recognized)
  • Strong communicator and team leader; drives innovation and improvements
  • Skilled problem-solver with a proactive, can-do attitude
  • Collaborative with strong change management skills
  • Thrives in agile, fast-paced, matrixed environments
  • Deep knowledge of HGB and US GAAP accounting standards
  • Experienced in business partnering, budgeting, and forecasting analysis
  • Strong proficiency in German and English is required
