Group Financial Controller

An international technology company is transforming their Finance & Systems landscape. They're looking for an experienced Senior FC with strong Finance process knowledge and transformation experience to join their team.

Working closely with senior stakeholders, you will play a critical role in leading the set up and improvement of financial infrastructure, finance operations and financial control. You will lead financial reporting and consolidation, and will ensure compliance with regulatory reporting standards. You’ll oversee core accounting operations, GL, COA and will lead the implementation of systems for accounting, controlling and reporting as well as process automation efforts to build a scaleable finance function.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of accounting, consolidation, financial reporting, monthly reconciliations, journal entries and internal controls.
• Own the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes with accuracy and efficiency and drive process automation and improvements
• Support the Financial Audit process with external partners and internal finance stakeholders
• Ensure timely and accurate reporting
• Lead projects to improve the core Financial systems landscape, including ERP and Financial Consolidation, Reporting and FP&A systems
• Partner with FP&A, Legal, Operations, and other departments to support strategic initiatives and reporting needs.
• Lead and mentor the growing accounting team and finance function

Your experience

• 5+ years' Finance experience with strong knowledge across Accounting and Controlling
• Good knowledge of international accounting and reporting standards – GAAP and IFRS
• Experience leading finance transformation programmes including Finance process analysis and design, COA redesign, building up Financial Controlling processes and FP&A structure
• Experience leading ERP and Financial Systems implementations and improvement projects with Cloud Systems e.g. Workday Finance, Oracle Netsuite, MS Dynamics or similar
• Strong technical knowledge of Accounting standards and experience preparing financial statements and supporting Audit
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Proactive mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.

Location: Baltic countries e.g. Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia (hybrid working with some business travel) – other EU locations may be possible with travel
