Joining us, you will

• Lead, inspire and grow a high-performing team of 4-6 software engineers.
• Collaborate with the product manager to define the roadmap and priorities for your team, while coordinating with dependencies across the company.
• Shape team practices and ways of working for a newly-formed team, establishing guidelines, best practices, and processes that enable high-velocity delivery.
• Take ownership of the quality and security of the software within your team and drive initiatives to improve it continuously.
• Contribute to engineering-wide initiatives as a member of Nelly's engineering leadership team.

What you'll bring

• 4+ years of engineering management experience and 8+ years of overall experience in the industry.
• A strong technical background with hands-on experience in building SaaS products.
• Experience working with the TypeScript ecosystem and public cloud providers (ideally AWS).
• A deep understanding of software development processes and the ability to set up a team for success.
• Empathy and excellent communication skills.
• Experience in developing, mentoring and growing a high-performing team.
• Fluent English skills, with German being a strong plus but not mandatory.
• Experience in financial or payment products is also an important advantage.
