Huawei's Munich Research Center is responsible for advanced technology research, architectural development, design and strategic engineering of our products.

Audiovisual Technology Lab in Huawei Munich Research Center is developing innovative technologies in the field of acquisition, encoding and decoding, processing and presentation for the media field, including audio, video, image and graphics. You will contribute to these activities being inserted into an international and experienced team of researchers.

Your mission

• Identify and expand leading academic and industrial resources in the media technology field (audio, video, images, graphics, and related fields).
• Gain insights into cutting-edge information and technological trends in the media technology field.
• Support local teams in executing technology planning activities.

Your areas of expertise

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in at least one field of media technology (e.g., Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Signal Processing, Visual Computing) with a specialization in audio, video, images, graphics, and related fields.
• Strong technical comprehension and communication skills.
• Excellent ability to synthesize technical information into summaries and insight reports.
• Experience and capability in technology planning (preferred).
• Fluency in written and spoken Chinese and English (essential).
