Job Description

We are on the lookout for a Senior Director, Global Procurement (all genders) to join the Procurement team on our journey to always deliver amazing experiences.

About the opportunity

• Lead Delivery Hero’s global procurement strategy, with a focus on indirect procurement.


• Act as a thought leader for global, regional and local procurement teams.


• Partner with regional teams and key functions (Product, Tech, Logistics, Real Estate) to understand their sourcing needs and to maximise value from supplier relationships.


• Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership.


• Build strong relationships with the largest and most strategic suppliers.


• Streamline contracts and optimise supplier cost, quality, and performance.


• Implement risk mitigation strategies to ensure supply chain resilience.


• Set internal policies and controls aligned with best practices and regulatory standards.


• Ensure compliance with internal rules and applicable regulation.


• Drive adoption of procurement technologies and analytics for efficiency and insights.


• Enhance Source-to-Pay (S2P) processes across all markets.


• Lead global transformation initiatives and support innovation in procurement.


• Sponsor training to ensure the team has the skills to navigate a changing industry.

What you need to be successful

• Completed education in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or a related field.


• Relevant certifications (e.g., CIPS, CPSM) are a plus.


• 12+ years of progressive experience in global procurement or supply chain management.


• Deep expertise in indirect procurement, including IT, SaaS, and marketing.


• Proven leadership in global, matrixed environments with multi‑regional scope.


• Track record in leading procurement transformation, digital enablement, and cost optimisation programs.


• Strong experience managing supplier relationships, negotiations, and contract lifecycle.


• Demonstrated success in cross‑functional collaboration with C‑level stakeholders.


• Familiarity with applicable procurement laws and regulations.


• Strategic mindset with operational execution excellence.


• Strong negotiation, influencing, stakeholder management and communication skills.


• Ability to leverage data and analytics to drive decisions and set priorities.


• Rigorous prioritisation to manage competing demands and a high workload.


• Adaptability and ability to manage ambiguity in fast‑changing environments.
