As a Sales Manager, you are accountable for achieving the business success of a specific region or vertical, overseeing the performance of the Spire space‑based data portfolio. You will build and nurture partnerships with prospects, guide them through the sales process, and ensure a superior customer experience that continuously raises the bar for service and advocacy.

Responsibilities
  • Identify outbound prospects, understand their business needs, and engage them in 1:1 dialogues.
  • Generate outbound new‑business pipeline, meeting sales targets through rigorous prospecting and qualification.
  • Manage the full customer experience across the Spire Sales Process.
  • Gather and convey customer and industry insights to refine internal processes and products.
  • Conduct financial analysis of opportunities and drive deals from prospecting through closure, targeting 6‑digit sales within an average 90‑day cycle.
  • Maintain up‑to‑date forecasting, data analysis, and reporting for business performance.
  • Collaborate closely with marketing, SDRs, and cross‑functional teams to execute campaigns and generate new business.
  • Record accurate customer and pipeline data in CRM for reporting and forecasting.
  • Communicate regularly with stakeholders and coordinate across teams to meet tight deadlines.
Basic Qualifications

  • Track record of hiring and mentoring senior sales professionals.

Spire operates a hybrid work model and requires this position to be based in the office at least three days per week.
