Your day-to-day:
  • Follow-up on market & industry trends, producing reliable, accurate reports for the sales organization to steer business and internal stakeholders.
  • Continuously monitor competitors, providing key information to set sales and support strategies.
  • Process, review, and lead all incoming customer requests, keeping all databases updated.
  • Lead the preparation of documentation and agreements (Tenders, MoUs, LOIs, Sales and Service Contracts, Agent, Dealership, and Finder Agreements, etc.).
  • Prepare and share with the direct hierarchy accurate and up-to-date metrics/KPIs for business, customer, and market steering.
  • Participate in the sales strategy definition to plan Dornier Seawings' market entry and success in specific markets.
  • Work closely with all internal departments, acting as a role model for teamwork, following up on customer operations, and supporting internal organization, always seeking customer satisfaction and timely responses. Act as “the voice of the customer”.
  • Evaluate, prepare, and participate in customer visits and events worldwide and in-house, as required.
  • Develop marketing strategies, including messaging, brochures, marketing materials, event content, social media, and presentations.
  • Oversee marketing material production, including content creation, design coordination, supplier selection, and ordering (e.g., photos and videos shooting).
  • Follow all internal processes as set by the organization, in compliance with policies and rules.
  • Work with discipline and ethics, exemplifying organizational support aligned with the company’s global strategy, vision, and mission.
Requirements:
  • An engineering background with solid commercial and financial awareness.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in the aviation industry.
  • Proven track record in aircraft sales and marketing or other aviation-relevant areas.
  • Familiarity with the global aviation sales market, including aircraft sales processes, strategies, and channels.
  • Salesforce proficiency is a plus.
  • Strong skills in customer development, marketing, and business negotiation.
  • Excellent communication skills in English; German language skills are desired.
  • Willingness to represent the company at events and travel worldwide.
  • Sales-oriented with good social and communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Self-motivated, capable of inspiring, motivating, and leading others as a team player.
  • Flexibility, creativity, self-management, and planning skills are key.
